On Sunday we took a trip out of town - about 40km west of Kampala - to the butterfly forest. It was a rainy Sunday so most of the butterflies were hiding but we saw and heard many hornbills, ibises and other Ugandan birds along the walk. We traversed the paths crossed with lines of safari ants and explored the termite mounds (Betsey's favorite).
