happy 50th Uganda!

We celebrated the 50th anniversary of Uganda's independence from the British in grand style...the huge jubilee celebrations were just down the street from our house.  There was much dancing, marching and celebrating with leaders from all over the continent, and a great deal of the population of Kampala!  They also put together an impressive air show, complete with three fighter jets streaming low by our house and spraying the colors of the Ugandan flag across the sky.
