Their names are Zina and Seka (see below). Zina means dance in Luganda, one of Naomi's favorite words, and seka means laugh. They are rescue dogs that we inherited from a family that is moving away. Very cute and very lovely with Naomi. When she had friends coming over last week, she grabbed both dogs and said, "But these are my friends!".
Lendell has been away and working late a lot these days. He brought a big printed picture home from one of the "One Health" conferences last week. You would think Naomi had never received a present before! She took the picture in the car with her, she took it to the market to shop, and then she built a little tupperware shrine to Dad in the kitchen.
