We took a road trip this weekend to western Uganda near the border with Kenya. It was 4.5 hours in the car - not ideal with Naomi - but felt like a world away. Clean air, mountain springs and waterfalls and I even found raspberry bushes. We stayed at a quaint lodge on the hill by one of the waterfalls and went to sleep to the sound of the rushing water. Incredible green pastureland of bananas and coffee plantations and lush surroundings everywhere. We took a few short hikes and loved the getaway. Thanks Camara for suggesting a getaway while you are here in Uganda!
