Camara (now known as Uncle Camara throughout Uganda) came to visit on his way to the World Cup. We explored downtown, the beautiful mural and Independence Monument, a street art fair called La Ba (to see in Luganda, not don't go as in Tetum!) and our favorite coffee shop, BanCafe. The local art scene is captivating - many different mediums and lots of small studios and larger galleries all over the city.
