The beautiful ending to a gorgeous meal: ginger flower sorbet over a strawberry and kaffir lime leaf salad. The ginger flower was a new root to Chris and he had not seen it outside of Indonesia. It is from a different plant than the ginger root but has a lovely sweet ginger aroma and taste that is dynamite in this sorbet. I recreated it since then with pomegranates and it worked very well!
